“For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.”
Ecclesiastes 7:20 NKJV
Every man or woman who says yes to Jesus is covered in the perfection of One’s blood who was not defiled. Yet regarding relationship and union, God desires a response worthy of restoring what will be broken time and time again, and it’s called repentance. Though we miss the mark God desires to refresh our languished souls back to fullness and greater growth.
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,”
Acts 3:19 NKJV
“He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”
Proverbs 28:13 NKJV
May we incline our ears to hear; those who believe that they can hide from God lack reverence towards His authority, and I don’t speak as one who has arrived by any means, I speak as one to encourage. The ministry of accountability to the ministry of reconciliation is spurring each other on to desire holiness. As ambassadors of Christ, we are called to share the truth and walk in the truth. Remember God sees all and when we mess up, regardless of the consequences, we serve a God whose mercy runs deep and whose grace runs wide.
Any sins dwelling on your heart? Repent.
“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
Hebrews 4:13 NKJV
“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:15-16 NKJV
