“The path of life leads upward for the prudent, that he may turn away from Sheol beneath.”
Proverbs 15:24 ESV
Men’s disappointments bring forth an opportunity to die to self and bring forth the carnality, the insecurities, and the overall weakness to the foot of the cross. Listen, as sons, we must come to understand that lessons are always needing to be learned throughout this time on earth as we are being sanctified. Though we fall short we are given an opportunity to look up and give the very things that are heavy on our hearts to Him. Brethren, we are not called to fear in the presence of the enemy. We are not called to fight this battle in our own strength. We are not validated by our studies and our strengths. We are — complete alone in the divine enablement. By Christ alone! So with the promises that are given in the Word, cling onto them tightly and walk forward boldly. Disappointment after disappointment lay it at the foot of the cross and press forward prudently.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 ESV
“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." "Only let us hold true to what we have attained.”
Philippians 3:12-14, 16 ESV
