Helplessness in the world‘s eyes can be seen as someone who is willing to yield the totality of their life up to a sovereign Father; from substantial resources to intellectual gain. Christians can be seen as a car without an engine, but mark the words of God within the scripture. From the parting of the sea to raising a life from the dead, humanity’s finite understanding cannot comprehend the beauty and wonder of God. Brothers and sisters, when you feel the weight on your shoulders, turn to a Father who is capable of holding that weight.
Though you may seem foolish in the world‘s eyes, remember guidance, enablement, and power from the Lord‘s hands will take you farther than you could ever comprehend.
The Bible says, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.”
Psalms 20:7-8 NKJV
The Christian walk is not one of leaving things up to fate but rather leaving things up to a Father who is near. May we learn daily to accept that we are dependents of a holy Father, and though we may look foolish, may we continue to share that bread of hope to a lost and dying world.
