Emmanuel "God with us"

There is not a treasure so grand

nor a gift so needed

except that of He who is with us.

He who is with us

understood the depths of our pains

and chose to bring relief

that no man could maintain.

He who is with us

though His dignity sold,

came down as light

that man may come to extol.

He who is with us

has brought forth the provision

for our fallen condition

and by Him would come

our eternal position.

The greatest gift we would ever receive

is found in a relationship with He who bears light

to our greatest need.

May our hearts run rampant

sharing the Light we’ve found,

and may we continue to walk as such

giving glory to His crown.
