Capable in Him

“Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.””

Exodus 4:10-12 NKJV

In our reasoning, we will tell ourselves what we can or can’t do, and when our own thoughts lead us, we are not being led by the Spirit. To yield is of great significance because our reliance is no longer placed on what we know but on Him. If God calls you to it, He will supply all you need to get it done. So, before we extend our excuses, let’s be quick to express our gratitude. We are capable by His strength, in His way, in His time.

So he answered and said to me:

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 NKJV

The Lordis my strength and my shield;

My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;

Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

And with my song I will praise Him. Psalm 28:7 NKJV
